What are NBHWC Sponsored CE Events?
NBHWC Sponsored CE Events are on-demand continuing education courses developed or sponsored by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching. Each course is designed to support professional growth and maintain high standards in health & wellness coaching practice.
Each course provides 1 NBC-HWC continuing education (CE) credit.
Who can access these courses?
NBC-HWCs receive complimentary access as part of the NBC-HWC community. Members of the public, including students of NBHWC Approved Training Programs, may purchase individual courses.
How many CE credits will I earn?
Each on-demand course is worth 1 CE credit toward NBC-HWC recertification requirements. A certificate of completion will be issued after successful completion of the course requirements.
How do I document my CE credit for recertification?
For NBC-HWC certificants, CE credit is automatically added to your online CE tracker once you successfully complete the course and pass the quiz. No additional reporting is required. A certificate of completion will also be issued for your records. We recommend retaining a copy for your documentation.

Please note: Continuing education (CE) credit is issued only to active NBC-HWC certificants. While members of the public may purchase and complete courses, CE credit is not awarded to non-certificants.
What if I attend the course live?
If you attend the course live, you must still log into this platform to complete the required quiz in order to receive CE credit. You do not need to rewatch the full recording. The system allows you to bypass the recording and proceed directly to the quiz. CE credit will be automatically added to your online CE tracker once you successfully pass the quiz.
